1 ask other family members who are going to eat to help you in the kitchen

2 you can call a caterer

3 tell the men to bbq

4 assign a dish to people in the family so your not doing all the labor (might be a new tradition)

Interesting answer: I am a man, and yes I am actually cooking. I think this comes down to the fact that in general, women know how to cook more than men do.



Logical answer: because us men do the dishes and eat the food.

My brother is cooking this holiday. He usually does insist on cooking as he always has some crazy new food to share. We are helping with side dishes, desserts ect. He is an awesome cook, his wife does the baking as she has real talent baking. I wouldn't let my husband do more than cheese and crackers as he is kitchen inept. He is however great with kids and old folks. Each to there own talent. By the way I would prefer to cook,i cook more traditionally. I get clean up by default. He is a great cook, but MESSY.

You don't have to cook, you choose to do it because you love your family. If you don't feel like cooking then just don't do it.

Buy a loaf of bread and some peanut butter & jelly and start a new holiday meal tradition.

Because they have no time frame. They would have to start cooking for christmas a week ahead of time.
