Assume you are talking about artificially sweetened food:



Simply because sugar substitutes are more expensive than sugar. My own pet peeve is eating places that only offer saccharin (pink packets) and not aspartame (blue) or sucralose (yellow). The former tastes like gasoline to all but really old people who got used to it years ago.

probably becuase there is SOO much sugar and the products that usually have sugar in it will be harder to make without it. and it is more healthier

cuz things w/ sugar makes ppl addicted to it, so they get more money out of it, whereas some ppl don't get a kick out of plain foods like spinach and stuff like that.
