A farmer whose former lover, a one-time dairy princess, was convicted of murdering his fiancee in a jealous rage in 1989 told a farm publication that he intends to marry a Wausau legal secretary in May.
Bill Buss, 28, of Eland received international attention in 1990 as the dark-haired, handsome man in the center of a quarrel between Lori Esker of Hatley, then 20, and Lisa Cihaski, 21, of Birnamwood.
Esker was convicted in June 1990 of first-degree intentional homicide for strangling Cihaski with a belt Sept. 20, 1989, as the two argued in Cihaski's car over Buss.
