My girlfriend birthday is on Valentine's Day, any suggestions?

If you plan on being with her next year, don't set your goal too high this year. Remember you'll have to outdo it next year. If on the other hand you don't think the two of you will make it another whole year then shoot the moon, go all out, make it THE birthday and valentine she'll never forget. Send her a dozen roses with 11 red ones and one white one include a note that says this white rose represents how special she is because she was born on Valentines's Day and because you fill my heart with love and joy or whatever you want to write. You could make it 11 white ones and one red one, your choice (ask the florist which would look nicer). Take her out to a really special restaurant that has an intimate romantic atmosphere and serves her favorite meal, call ahead to see if you need reservations. Ask the restaurant if they have a heart shaped birthday cake or if you can bring your own. If you can bring one, order a heart shaped birthday cake with her name on it and bring it to the restaurant with you, but don't forget the candles. She'll get extra birthday wishes from the other diners and she can either share the cake if she wants or take the rest home. If you have a limited budget, you can still get a bouquet of flowers with one rose.
